Fibre Art Light Tube with Acrylic base.

These fibre art light tubes are an exploration of my fascination with light and the way it interacts with everything it touches.  A seamless fibre art is supported by a 92cm tall styrene tube.  This tube slips snugly over an acrylic base, designed to allow the light from the lamp to pass through.  As a result, the base appears to glow, giving a modern aesthetic.  

The lamp base has been designed by Caroline Burton, Fibre Artist and made in New Zealand.  

Lamp is controlled by an inline switch on the electrical cable.  Electrical components to New Zealand specifications.  NB - Actual lamp is supplied with a clear electrical cord, NOT the white one pictured.
