Exploring the idea that the non-physical world can be sensed through the physical under certain conditions, I imagine the moment that, from a state of darkness, the physical is suddenly illuminated. I wonder whether, at this precise point in time, an opening to an unseen realm is somehow created - a spiritual experience, if you will.

Interested in the interrelatedness of the spiritual and the physical, I often draw parallels between physical landscape and our inner world. I explore the ways in which that which can be observed can give clues to the vast expanse that lies beneath, out of sight.
