The process used to create these Fibre Art Prints is not unlike that used to paint a conventional picture. Layers of colour are applied and then details carefully added. The difference being that my "paints" are wool and silk fibres and my hands are the brushes. Artworks are then captured and reproduced using the highest quality printing techniques and materials.
The depth of colour and dimension in these unique artworks makes them truly eye catching. The sheen of the silk fibres lends a three dimensional quality to the piece. Capture of this particular type of fibre art is unique to Caroline Burton, Fibre Artist.
